FREEDOM

Egypt raised up Moses and at the same time rejected Israel. We are reminded that both were Hebrews! Every Hebrew at that time was considered a slave and subservient to Pharaoh and the Egyptians. Sometimes we love and embrace what we believe is ours, until the nature of what we claim is revealed. Then once we discover the truth, that In actuality everything belongs to God, then our true hearts are revealed.

Moses was not a freedom fighter nor was he a terrorist; Moses was a life giving deliverer. Jesus wasn't a revolutionary, Jesus was and is a savior. When Moses was a younger man, he tried to deliver the Hebrew slaves one Egyptian at a time. As Moses grew older he realized that it was much better for him to follow God rather than for God to follow him.

The Jews of Jesus day wanted a Jewish Messiah but not a Jesus Messiah. It appears that many today want a personal tailor made Messiah that fits their measurements. We want an uncompromising Messiah without a fully devoted commitment to him.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE AND GUARANTEED VICTORY by Randall Burton

We've rebuked demons, declared into the heavens and proclaimed Jesus as Lord over our problems and struggles, but is that the remedy for what we seek? In some cases yes but for the most part no. Why?  Because you can say all of the right words, quote all the right scriptures and still have a disobedient heart! The rich young ruler was a good Jewish boy but when Jesus called him out on his true heart issues, he couldn't bear the thought of selling everything that he owned.

The greatest spiritual warfare in the world is that of complete obedience to Jesus Christ.

If you really want to see strongholds broken over your life just follow and do what Jesus says. I guarantee you that you will walk in greater freedom if you do.

2015 THE YEAR OF REST

Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

The number 15 is the number for rest. 2015 is a time of resting and refreshing in the Lord. His yoke rests your soul.

the word rest means to cause or permit one to cease from any movement or labour in order to recover and collect his strength to give rest, refresh, to give one‘s self rest, take rest to keep quiet, of calm and patient expectation.

The word “easy” means: fit, useful or manageable.

God is not releasing you from responsibility, He’s releasing you into the right responsibility. He is resizing you for your responsibility. God is trying to adequately fit you for your unique anointing. David couldn’t wear Saul’s armor because it wasn't fit for his use. David had to be resized with armor that fit his anointing.

Rest is not the absence of something, rest is the presence of someone. JESUS!

The rest that we are speaking of here today is not a finish line. The rest that Jesus is talking about is a starting line. A place of realignment not retirement! A place of positioning and preparation not of passing out. Get ready for a brand new look and a fresh start!
